Following the release of their debut album 5am, Amber Run, a Nottingham based band tipped for great things, returned to Manchester to play to a sold out crowd at Sound Control on 30th April.
Lead vocalist Joe Keogh's energy was infectious, and it was great fun photographing his emotive expressions. Performing hits such as Noah, Spark and Pilot, it's easy to see why Amber Run were tipped for success as one of XFM's Great X-Pectations in 2014.
Drawing comparisons to both Bastille and Mumford & Sons, Amber Run have already supported Kodaline on a national tour, and now continue to travel the UK on their own headline tour.
It would be great to see them back in Manchester again some time soon, to photograph them at a larger venue.
